Providence, R.I. - Senior Megan Foster (Berlin, N.J.) earned a spot on the BIG EAST weekly honor roll this week after recording five points in an upset of #14 Iowa to break the school record for career points.

This is Foster's second selection to the conference weekly honor roll.

Foster had two goals and an assist as the Wildcats had a field day on offense in a 5-1 upset win over then-#14 Iowa. She combined with sophomore Allison Boris (Shavertown, Pa.) to score all five goals and assist on all but one goal in the game. This was the second time Foster and Boris had paired up to score all of 'Nova's goals in a game.

The senior went into the contest with the Hawkeyes with 120 career points, three shy of the top spot held by Nicole DiMaggio (1997-00), who ended her career with 122. Foster now holds the record with 125. Her two goals inched her closer to the lead in career goals as well. She has 52 and needs five to pass the current record-holder, DiMaggio (56).

Foster leads the BIG EAST in shots (6.00 per game), points (3.29/game), is is tied for the lead in goals per game (1.43).
