Cherry Hill, NJ- On May 11, the Villanova University rowing team competed at the ECAC National Collegiate Invitational, held on the Cooper River in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Four Villanova boats advanced to the finals, highlighted by a second place finish in the Novice Metro Eight with a time of 7:14.81.

After placing fourth in their heat with a time of 7:48.01, the Second Varsity Metro Eight boat notched a second place finish in the Petite Final with a time of 7:47.36.

Villanova's Varsity Metro Eight team finished with a time of 7:15.03, giving them fifth place in the Grand Final.

The University of Delaware boat won the Varsity Metro Four (Cox) final with a time of 8:18.10. The Wildcat boat finished sixth with a time of 8:28.91.
