Villanova University junior guard Trish Juhline underwent surgery today on her broken right foot suffered in Villanova's 68-62 loss to St. Joseph's on Friday, Dec. 7. The injury is expected to sideline Juhline from four to six weeks.

A 2001-02 pre-season first team All-Big East Conference selection, Juhline is currently averaging 11.7 ppg., 3.3 rpg., 3.0 apg., and 1.5 spg. As a sophomore last year, Juhline averaged 11.1 ppg., 2.5 rpg., 2.8 apg., and 1.0 spg. Also last season, Juhline connected on 73-of-191 (38.2 percent) from three-point range.

Villanova is currently 4-3 on the season and will return to action on Friday, Dec. 21 when the Wildcats host Morgan State at 7:30 p.m.
