LAS VEGAS (AP) - Jackie Adamshick scored a game-high 25 points to lead No.
24 Villanova past Texas-Arlington 59-53 Sunday in the consolation game of the
Lady Rebel Shootout.
Adamshick's 3-pointer early in the second half gave Villanova a 38-26 lead,
and the Wildcats connected on 11-of-19 shots after the break.
Villanova (3-1) turned up the defensive pressure and held Texas-Arlington to
29 percent shooting (8-for-28) in the second half.
Rola Ogunoye led Texas-Arlington (2-2) with 15 points and eight rebounds and
Terra Wallace added 12 points.
