VILLANOVA, Pa. (AP) - Katie Davis and Trish Juhline scored 16 points apiece to lead No. 22 Villanova over No. 23 Boston College 75-61 Wednesday night.

Davis scored 11 of her points in the first half, hitting three 3-pointers along the way for Villanova (16-4, 6-3 Big East).

Courtney Mix scored 15 points, pulled down eight rebounds and had seven assists for Villanova. Kelly Nash came off the bench to go 3-for-4 from three-point range as the Wildcats built a 40-25 halftime lead.

Boston College (15-5, 7-2), which had won four straight, trailed by double-digits through most of the game before going on a 13-2 run midway through the second half. Becky Gottstein scored nine of her game-high 19 points in the rally, which cut Villanova's lead to 64-55 with 4:16 remaining, but the Eagles got no closer.

Jessalyn Deveny scored 16 for Boston College, which went 0-for-7 from 3-point range.
