EASTON, PA. - The Villanova men's tennis team won five of six singles matches en route to a 5-2 defeat of Lafayette in non-conference action on Saturday. The Wildcats improved to 6-8 overall this season.

Aaron Kusza and Ricardo Baraldi each picked up their team-leading ninth decision of the season, winning No. 1 and No. 3 singles. Lucas Kaster improved to 8-4 by posting a 6-2, 6-2 showing over Devin Murphy at No. 5.

Angel Rubio and Alex Villalobos also captured their respective singles matches for their sixth and seventh wins this season.

Then in doubles, Rubio and Villalobos paired for an 8-5 victory over Jeremy Fehrs and Murphy at No. 3 doubles.

Villanova returns to the courts on Tuesday at 3 p.m. when Temple comes to the Villanova Tennis Complex.
