VILLANOVA, PA. - Villanova men's lacrosse head coach Randy Marks announced the Wildcats' 2004 season schedule on Monday. The slate features eight contests at Villanova Stadium, which is the most home dates on the schedule since the 2000 campaign.

The Wildcats start the season with three consecutive home games, beginning with Colgate on Feb. 21. Binghamton and Lehigh will also visit the Main Line to close out the February portion of the schedule.

Villanova's first road game is just a short trip to Franklin Field for a tilt with Pennsylvania on March 6. Then Patriot League schools Bucknell and Lafayette travel to Villanova Stadium on March 9 and 13.

The weekend of March 20 is an open date for the Wildcats, which Marks said the team is still trying to fill.

The Wildcats play at Philadelpia rival St. Joseph's before returning home to open Colonial Athletic Association action with Drexel.

April includes four CAA games, with road contests at Towson, Delaware and Sacred Heart before a home date with Hofstra. An April 30 game with Penn State closes out the regular season schedule with the CAA Tournament scheduled for May 5 and 8.
