VILLANOVA, Pa. -- Senior midfielder Mike Holloway has been selected to play in the annual North-South all-star game to be held on Saturday, June 8, 2002 at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, head coach Randy Marks announced today.

Holloway capped his collegiate career with a strong season in 2002. The product of nearby Malvern, Pa. (Malvern Prep) led the Wildcats with 26 goals this season and was second on the squad in both points (37) and assists (11). On five occasions in 2002, Holloway scored three or more goals.

Earlier this spring, Holloway was honored by the Colonial Athletic Association, which named him to the league's first team. Holloway and teammate Owen Corso, a second team choice, were the first ever Villanova All-CAA selections. The 2002 campaign marked the Wildcats debut in the CAA.

The North-South All-Star game, featuring college standouts from across the country, will take place at 3:00 p.m. on June 8. Johns Hopkins University will host the event.
