A Pair of Wildcats Make the North/South All-Star Game.

Villanova, Pa. - Villanova men's lacrosse seniors Owen Corso and Brian Marks have been named to the North/South All-Star game. The game highlights the top senior lacrosse players in the country and will be played at 3 p.m. June 7th at Sacred Heart University.

Marks and Corso are the ninth and tenth players to play under head coach Randy Marks to be selected to the North/South game. In 2003 the Wildcats finished 10-5 advancing to the semifinals of the Colonial Athletic Association tournament and reaching as high as #18 in the rankings.

Brian Marks leads the country in total points with 67. The senior led the Wildcats attack and posted a league leading 43 assists while scoring 24 goals. Marks 114 assists in his Main Line career leads Villanova all-time. Earlier this year Marks was named CAA Player of the Year and earned first team CAA honors.

Long-stick defender Owen Corso was the Wildcats toughest defensman who anchored a defense that only allowed 6.07 goals per game. Corso's 71 groundballs were third in the CAA and he finished his Villanova career with 286 groundballs.
