Wichita, Kan. - The University of Northern Iowa volleyball team dropped its second match in a row Saturday night, falling 3-0 to Wichita State at Charles Koch Arena. Game scores were 30-25, 30-19 and 30-20.

Trista Humpal (New Hampton, Iowa) led UNI with 12 kills and hit .409 (12-3-22) for the match. Abby Lemek (Sioux City, Iowa) had nine kills and 12 digs for the Panthers.

The Panthers struggled offensively, hitting just .083 (41-29-144) on the evening. Wichita State hit .276 (50-15-127) and had four players in double-figures in kills, led by Darci Vohs with 16.

UNI falls to 16-8 on the season, 9-4 in the Missouri Valley Conference. The league-leading Shockers improve to 17-5, 12-1 in conference play.

The Panthers next face Evansville this Friday (Nov. 5) in the West Gym, with first serve set for 7:00 p.m.
