            The University of Northern Iowa women's golf team claimed seventh place today at Southern Illinois University's Saluki Invitational The Panthers shot a 326-321--647 overall.  Play was held at the par 72 Hickory Ridge Golf Course which carries 6,017 yards.

 

            Senior Dana Moening (Cold Spring, Minn./Rocori) was UNI's top finisher tying for third with Bradley's Bari-Lynn Erais.  Moening carded a 76 yesterday and a 75 today to finish the invite with a 151. Bradley University won the tournament with their own Meaghan LeBlanc taking medalist honors.

 

            The Panthers' next tournament is Apr.3-4 at the Payne Stewart Memorial in Springfield, Mo.
