The University of Northern Iowa men's golf team stands in 10th after the first two rounds of the Murray State Invitational. Murray State is hosting the tournament at Miller Memorial Golf Course, the course is a par 71 and carries 6,601 yards.
Freshman Blake Hibben (Cedar Falls, Iowa/NU High) had a hole-in-one on his first hole of the tournament. He teed off at the par 3 hole nine, sinking his first shot of the day. Hibben is now tied for 21st overall with a 67-77--144. Sophomore Jordan Weber (Bernard, Iowa/Cascade) is leading the Panthers with a 69-73--142 and is tied for 16th overall.
As a team, UNI shot a 287 in the first round and was in the eighth position but fell to tied for tenth with a 296 in the second.
Play will be completed tomorrow afternoon.
