State Class 5A Player of Year by High School Sports Publications after rushing for school-record 2,478 yards and 33 touchdowns on 11-2 league, city, and sectional champions. Set school career marks with 6,356 rushing yards and 83 TDs and produced three of top five season rushing campaigns in school history and three of top four RHS single-season rushing TD totals. Starter all four years for four-time city champions. Lettered four times in football and track. Three-year state qualifier in high jump. Won city high jump title with 6-foot-5 effort as junior. Cum laude Honor Roll student.
