THIBODAUX, La. - The Lady Colonels continue their non-conference stint on the road with their bout against in-state rival the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin Cajuns on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Earl K. Long Gym.

The Lady Colonels (1-7) are coming off of a 68-45 loss at Alcorn State on Dec. 11, and have not won a road game all season. Nicholls lone win came in Stopher Gym against Dillard, 69-59, on opening night.

Louisiana-Lafayette (3-5) will be playing at home after losing 76-43 at No.20 Texas on Sunday. The Ragin Cajuns have won two of their three games on their home court this season, and have only one player averaging in double figures.

Like the Ragin Cajuns, the Lady Colonels have only player averaging in double-digits for the season, and that is Katherine Plummer with a 15.3 ppg average. Plummer, who is currently third in the conference in scoring, is one of two Lady Colonels to start all eight of Nicholls' games. The Brooklyn, NY native is also fifth in the conference in assists with 4.13 a game.

Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. in Earl K. Long Gym.
