Student-athletes who are new to The Northern Colorado Athletics family, notably freshman and transfers, will participate in an orientation Monday, Sept. 4, followed by several welcoming sessions designed to familiarize students with the policies and procedures of the university. All new athletes all expected to attend the event, which runs from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. at the Butler-Hancock Athletic Center.
Student-athletes will attend four sessions, including:
Campus Resources
Responsibilities as a Student-Athlete
Drug Testing
Safety and Student-Athlete Welfare
Following the sessions, the new student-athletes will join teammates at Nottingham Field for pizza and will be formally welcomed back to campus by the athletic administration.
