Trailing by 19 at the half, the Niners continued to struggle in the opening minutes of the second period. Brown and Brittany Sumpter led the reserves, leading Charlotte back to within 17, 67-50, on a pair of Brown free throws with 6:34 to play. Sumpter went on to finish the day with nine points in 10 minutes, a career-high.
