At Second Baptist - Team won two straight District and Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) State Championships at the 5A classification in 2005 and 2006. Individually, Huynh was the TAPPS 5A singles champion in 2005 and 2006. He was a team captain for those two seasons and the Team MVP for those two years. He has been ranked in the Top 25 in Texas in the junior 18s and in the Top 20 in Texas in the junior 16s.
