Joe Lampert helped the 49ers post shutouts over NC State and Duke. The 49ers
had a different goalkeeper in each game but Lampert was the main constant as
sweeper on a defense that posted back-to-back shutouts against ACC foes. He
manned a defense that limited the two forwards for each team to a combined
four shots. This marked the second straight season that Charlotte has posted
wins over NC State and Duke in the Big Four Classic.
The 49ers host Conference USA foe Cincinnati, Saturday, November 2 at 7 pm.
