Justin Brown recorded his first career Conference USA complete game pitching performance in Charlotte's 4-1 victory over Tulane. Brown scattered four hits and allowed one unearned run for his first C-USA win of the season. He collected a career-high seven strikeouts in the game. The 49ers won two of the three games in the Tulane series.

Brown and the rest of the 49ers return to action this weekend at Southern Miss, April 11-13.
