Charlotte Competes At Mount SAC Relays

The men's 4x100-meter relay team finished second in California.

WALNUT, Calif. - The Charlotte 49ers track and field teams continued their outdoor campaign at last week's Mount SAC Relays. The men's team finished second in the 4x100-meter relay.

The men teamed up to match their best time of the season in the 4x100, circling the track with a time of 40.98 seconds. Abe Morlu also competed for the 49ers, finished 21st in the 200 meters.

On the women's side, Adrienne Lunsford posted a fourth place finish in the long jump. She covered a distance of 18'4.25". Her teammate, Amber Reddick was fourth in the triple jump with a distance of 40'5.5". Her mark was just half and inch short of her season-best.

This week, the Niners travel to Philadeplphia for the Penn Relays.
