The Midshipmen's top-five finishers all crossed the finish line within 48 seconds of each other. Team captain Melanie Stock (Sr./Mechanicsburg, Pa.) was the Navy's top finisher for the third-consecutive race, finishing the 6,000-meter course in 26th place (22:06.05). Sophomores Abby Wilder (Lake Geneva, Wis.) (60th-place/22:38.78), Sara Waters (Aurora, Colo.) (61st/22:39.71) and Stephanie Patterson (Mayville, Mich.) "We ran really well together today," said Navy 15th-year head coach Karen Boyle. "A lot of kids ran in pairs, which is very good."
