Navy Men's Cross Country Enters the Mount St. Mary's Invitational

The Navy men's cross country squad will continue its season Saturday at the Mount St. Mary's Invitational in Emmitsburg, Md. The Mids have racked up two first-place finishes and a second-place showing thus far this season. In the latest United States Cross Country Coaches Association's Mid-Atlantic Regional Poll, Navy is ranked sixth out of 57 schools.

At last Saturday's Navy Invitational, the Midshipmen finished first out of a field of 15 schools and were led by team captain Aaron Lanzel (Sugar Grove, Pa.), who won his second consecutive meet. For his efforts, Lanzel garnered ECAC Performer-of-the-Week honors for the week of Sept. 16.
