Teague Receives Pair of Weekly Diving Honors

A pair of victories on both boards for the 14th time in 15 meets this season helped Kevin Teague (So., Lexington, Ky.) earn diver of the week accolades from both the Patriot League and the Eastern College Athletic Conference, it was announced this week by the two respective league offices. It is the fourth Patriot League honor and the first ECAC accolade garnered this season by the Navy sophomore.

Competing last Saturday against 2004 Eastern Intercollegiate Swimming League team champion Princeton, Teague posted a score of 326.77 to win the one meter and a 376.65 to win the three meter, winning the two boards by a combined 112 points. Teague improved his record this season to a combined 29-1 on the two boards and to 59-3 during his two-year dual-meet career.

Navy will conclude its regular season Saturday when the Mids travel to New York City to face Columbia.
