Mids Play Host to Tigers in Men's Swimming
The Navy men's swimming and diving team will close the home portion of its season Saturday when the Midshipmen play host to Princeton in a 2 p.m. dual meet in Lejeune Hall. The Mids are coming off a two-week break from competition following a 138-104 loss at Pennsylvania. Navy, 6-4 this year, will close its regular season next weekend when the Mids travel to New York City to take on Columbia. After another two week break, Navy will then participate in the Eastern Intercollegiate Swimming League Championship, March 6-8 in Long Island, N.Y. "We close our season against two very strong opponents in Princeton and Columbia," said Navy head coach Lee Lawrence. "What we will be looking at in the next two meets is how our training for the EISL Championship is coming along and make any necessary adjustments to help us peak at Easterns." Princeton travels to Annapolis with a 7-0 record this season. The Tigers are coming off a dramatic 179-174 win over Harvard.
