The Navy men's and women's swimming and diving teams will compete Saturday at Lejeune Hall in a doubleheader against Pennsylvania. The women's meet begins at 12 noon, with the men's meet to follow at 3:30 p.m.

Navy's women's team defeated Johns Hopkins last weekend to raise its record to 7-2 on the season. Team captain Melissa Hawley (Sr., Brentwood, Tenn.) won the 200 butterfly and the 200 individual medley races against the Blue Jays. Also winning events in the meet were Megan Welsh (Fr., Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) in the 200 freestyle, Katie Costello (Jr., Lynbrook, N.Y.) in the 100 freestyle, and the 400 medley relay team of Lynne Hoppe (Fr., Shaker Heights, Ohio), Laurie Felker (So., Ellicott City, Md.), Hawley and Costello.

The men's team saw its record fall to 3-6 with a pair of losses in a double-dual meet against Cornell and Yale. Brett Cline (Sr., Virginia Beach, Va.) was the lone Mid to win an individual event against both schools, winning the 50 and 100 freestyle competitions. Navy's 400 free relay team of Jon Rank (Jr., Miami, Fla.), Terrence Fenningham (So., Philadelphia, Pa.), Marshall Boyd (So., Pittsburgh, Pa.) and Matt James (So., Lititz, Pa.) also claimed victory against each foe.

Penn's men's team enters the weekend with a 3-1 record, while the women are 4-2. Both teams are coming off victories over Army.
