ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Navy Offshore Sailing Team skipper Joe Campbell and his crew dominated the 2006 McMillan Cup held on the Chesapeake Bay last weekend.

Eight teams from the mid-Atlantic and New England competed in the seven-race series sailed aboard the Academy's fleet of 44' sloops.

Navy finished with six firsts and one second for a total of eight points to leave no doubt while the US Merchant Marine Academy ended up a distant second with 25 points and Coast Guard finished third with 29.

Rounding out the Navy crew were Chris Schubert, Leigh Loesel, Greg Nannig, Jaime Moreno, John Hayes, Owen Brooks and Will Arnest.

Next up for Navy Offshore Sailing is the J/105 Chesapeake Championships this weekend.
