Jennifer Stuczynski won the Women's Pole Vault at the 2007 AT&T USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, headlining a field that saw four athletes with NAIA ties card top 10 finishes in three events.
Stuczynski, who competed for adidas, topped Nikole McEwen to win the Women's Pole Vault after clearing 4.45 meters. Stuczynski, who competed collegiately at Roberts Wesleyan (N.Y.), won the 2005 NAIA Indoor Women's Pole Vault.
In the Men's 20,000 Meter Race Walk, Matthew Boyles (Miami Valley, 1:28:40.20) finished third while Patrick Stroupe (unattached, 1:32:54.54) finished fifth in the event.
Boyles was the 5,000 meter racewalk champion at the 2005 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships for Rio Grande (Ohio), while Stroupe is a two time NAIA champion for Central Methodist (Mo.), winning last month in Fresno and also in the 2004 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Former Malone (Ohio) athlete Timothy Mack (Nike) rounded out the list of NAIA ties in the Men's Pole Vault, finishing in a fourth-place tie after clearing 5.60 meters. Mack was inducted into the NAIA Hall of Fame in 2005.
