Mountain West Conference Softball Tournament In Rain Delay Utes will sit out weather to determine new time for game.
May 13, 2004 Heavy rain and a mixture of snow have forced a weather delay at the 2004 Mountain West Conference Softball Tournament in Fort Collins, Colo. League officials and head coaches have decided to delay game one (New Mexico vs. BYU) and game two (UNLV vs. Utah) until Friday. The games will follow the original time schedule, with game one beginning at 9:00 a.m. and game two at 11:30 a.m. The tournament will now be single elimination rather than double elimination.
