Academic All-MWC Soccer Team Announced Ten Utes are honored for scholastic and academic achievement
Feb. 20, 2006 SALT LAKE CITY - Ten University of Utah women's soccer student-athletes have been named to the 2005 Fall semester Academic All-Mountain West team. To be eligible for selection student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their athletic team. Utes making the team were Katie Battazzo (Sophomore, 3.93, Environmental Studies), Emily Campbell (Sophomore, 3.62, Pre-Nursing), Chelsea Card (Sophomore, 3.08, Undeclared), Michelle Deatherage (Junior, 3.02, Pre-Elementary Education), Kiley Jones (Sophomore, 3.81, Communication), Kim Lloyd (Senior, 3.04, Communication), Hailey Marsh (Junior, 3.50, Communication), Ashley Mason (Junior, 3.77, Exercise and Sport Science), Katy Reineke (Freshman, 3.93, Undeclared), Melissa Wayman (Junior, 3.65, Exercise and Sport Science).
