Pajkowski, Kassautzki Qualify For Odlum Brown Vancouver Open Pajkowski and Kassautzki both received qualifying wild card spots
July 21, 2005 VANCOUVER, B.C. - Sophomore Kamil Pajkowski (Burnaby, B.C./Burnaby HS) and freshman Graeme Kassautzki (Vancouver, B.C.) earned qualifying wild card spots in the Odlum Brown Vancouver Open at Hollyburn Country Club. Qualifying play runs July 30-31 while the main draw is Aug. 1-7. The first match will being at 10 a.m. and the last should commence around 6:30 p.m. Kassautzki earned a qualifying wild card spot by winning the BC Junior Provincial Championships. Kassautzki has been a member of Canada's Junior National team and will be joing the Lobos in the fall. Pajakowski earned a qualifying wild card spot as the leading point getter of the Tennis BC Summer Series. The Odlum Brown Vancouver Open is one of Canada's top three pro events. It combines a unique partnership between Tennis Canada, ATP Tour, United States Tennis Association and the International Tennis Federation. The tournament, hosted at Hollyburn Country Club, will attract over 140 professional players from around the globe. The tournament is a $100,000 US ATP men's world ranking draw.
