Mountain West Conference Announces Tennis Academic Honorees
17 men and 39 women earn the honor.

Colorado Springs, Colo. - The Mountain West Conference has announced its Academic All-Mountain West Conference honors for the sports of men's and women's tennis. To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have completed one academic term at the member institution, maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and be a starter or significant contributor.
Seventeen male and thirty-nine female student athletes qualify for the academic all-conference team in the sport of tennis. On the men's side, San Diego State leads the way with five honorees, Air Force and Utah follow with three selections each, while BYU, New Mexico and UNLV garnered two each. On the women's side, New Mexico, San Diego State and the University of Utah are all tied for the lead with six honorees each, BYU and Colorado State follow with five selections each, UNLV and Wyoming garnered four each and Air Force claimed three selections.
