Baseball Has Six Named Academic All-Conference Jay Brossman leads the way with a 3.50.
July 7, 2005 SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah baseball team saw six of its student athletes named to the Mountain West Conference all-academic team for spring 2005. To be eligible for selection student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their athletic team. Named to the team were: Doug Beck, Sr., 3.05, Communication; Jay Brossman, So., 3.50 Exercise & Sport Science; Clayne Garrett, Jr., 3.49, Economics; Ryan Khoury, Jr., 3.05, Business; Brian Lane, Jr., 3.38, Economics; Ryder Olson, Fr., 3.29, Exercise & Sport Science.
