25 MWC Players Selected in 2007 Major League Baseball Draft

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Mountain West Conference had 25 players selected during the 2007 Major League Baseball Draft, held June 7-8 in New York City.

TCU right-handed pitcher Sam Demel was the conference's highest pick, selected by the Oakland Athletics in the third round (120th overall selection).

San Diego State and TCU had the most players taken with seven apiece, while BYU had four players selected.

There have been 136 MWC players selected in the eight-year history of the league.
