Former Colorado State Standout Named to USA World Championship Team
Casey Malone headed to IAAF World Championships,

FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Casey Malone, a former Colorado State track & field
standout, was named to the IAAF World Championship team for the United
States.
Malone, who won the NCAA discus title for the Rams in 1998, will depart
for Paris, France on Monday to compete in the 9th IAAF World Championships. The USA yesterday announced their final team list for the 9th IAAF World
Championships in Athletics, Paris 2003 Saint-Denis, which begin next
week in the French capitals Stade de France. Malone will join the likes
of John Godina, Maurice Greene, Stacy Dragila and Gail Devers in
representing the United States among the worlds elite athletes.
