Outdoor Track & Field NCAA Qualifiers NCAA Announcers Qualifiers on Thursday
May 21, 2002 The University of Utah outdoor track & field team currently has four athletes who have provisionally qualified for the NCAA's championships. Erianne Allen, Teren Jameson, B.J. Christensen and Nephi Tyler will await the NCAA's announcement on Thurs., May 24 to see if they will be among the 388 athletes selected to compete in the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field meet in Baton Rouge, La.
Allen will compete in the Heptathlon, Jameson in the 10,000-meters run, Christensen in the Steeplechase and Tyler in the 1,500-meters run if they qualify for the meet. The NCAA will announce all qualifying athletes at 9:00 p.m. The announcement can be found at www.ncaachampionships.com
