Men's Basketball Camps 2004
Team Camp, June 20-23 & June 26-29
Coach Dale Layer and his staff provide quality, enthusiastic instruction during daily player development clinics.
High level of competition. Teams are placed in divisions based on size and skill level. We have had some of the top teams in the region from Colorado, Texas, Nebraska, South Dakota, Wyoming, and Kansas.
Coach Layer and his staff will conduct clinics throughout the week designed to make your athletes better individual and team players.
CSU Team Camp provides high-quality officiating along with high level competition. Actual high-school or college officials will referee the games. Plans are for an officiating camp to coincide with both sessions this year.
Each team will play a minimum of 10 games including tournament games.

Specialty Camp, June 17-19

The Rams basketball camp offers you the opportunity to meet your goals as an individual and team player. Colorado State's "Specialty Camp" is designed to help you develop your skills as a guard or post.

Colorado State boasts players that are among the Mountain West Conference leaders in scoring, three-point percentage, and field goal percentage. Women's Basketball Camps 2004
Ram Sharpshooter Day Camp, June 1-4
We have combined our Day Camp and last year's Sharpshooter Camp to create an new extended Sharpshooter Day Camp. This camp is offered for beginning as well as experienced basketball players entering grades 6-12. Our Ram Sharpshooter Day Camp is a daily clinic for girls designed to teach basketball fundamentals. Offensive and defensive skill work will be emphasized, in addition to game play, competitions and fun activities. Also, guard, forward and center position skills will be taught. Specified times will be set aside for shooting as they were previously with sharpshooter camp

Junior Ram Camp, June 1-4
This camp is offered for beginning as well as experienced basketball players entering grades 1-5. Our Jr. Ram Camp is a daily clinic for girls designed to teach basketball fundamentals. Offensive and defensive skill work will be emphasized, in addition to game play, competitions and fun activities with the CSU players.

Advanced Skills Camp, June 11-13
This camp is specifically offered for ambitious high school students interested in fine-tuning their skills. We will also offer workshops on eligibility, recruiting and the college experience in general. The camp will consist of intense, college-like practices. The campers will also be placed with other high caliber athletes on a team that will compete against teams in the team camp. If individuals wish to join their own High School or Club teams of the team camp, their Advanced Skills Camp Fee will be $115.00, a discount of $60.00. The skill session portion of this overnight camp will emphasize 1-on-1 moves, position work, passing, ball-handling and rebounding.

Team Camp, June 12-15
This week of camp is for TEAMS only: We are in our 13th year of team camp. We have had over 100 teams from 9 states attend camp. Team Camp is limited to 50 teams and has filled quickly in the past so get your deposit in quickly. Camp is offered as a Boarding or Non-Boarding camp beginning at 9:00 a.m. and ending at 9:00 p.m. daily. Eligible teams must have a coach and range in age from 7th-12th grade. High school teams at all levels are encouraged. * ALL STAR AND SUMMER TRAVEL TEAMS ARE ALSO ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND. Each team is guaranteed 8 games minimum.

Rocky Mountain Round-Up, June 23-25
The Rocky Mountain Round-Up is the third annual CSU tournament catering to junior high, high school and club teams. Teams will be divided into competitive levels by coach's choice. By popular demand, we will include a situation games tournament as part of this year's Round-Up. Instructional elements will also be included. Teams will be guaranteed a minimum of 6 games. Games will be officiated by certified officials and will be played at Moby Arena as well as other on-campus facilities. Room and board are not provided. (Local hotels have traditionally offered $60 room rates for this event.) What better way to get your club team ready for the summer tournament trail or your school team ready for the upcoming season!

Overnight Camp, June 29-July 2
Our Individual Overnight Camp will be offered as a Boarding or Non-Boarding Camp for girls entering grades 6-12. Players will be divided into two playing groups based on age and skill level. In addition, an ADVANCED SKILLS GROUP will be challenged with more advanced techniques and tougher drills. We will also break down into position work, teaching point guard, wing and post skills. Games will be played in the afternoons and evenings.

Football Camps 2004
Team Passing Camp, June 14-17, 2004
We are bringing back the highly successful passing camp this summer. This four-day team camp will feature 40-50 teams from across the country and provide an opportunity for competition, practice, individual instruction, as well as coaching clinics for visiting staffs.
High school teams will compete in a 7 on 7 format using a point system to keep score. Small schools and large schools will be paired accordingly. Schools of all sizes are encouraged to participate. Each team should provide at least a combination of a quarterback, two running backs, and three receivers on offense and seven defensive players.
Practice and meeting facilities will be made available prior to and after each session. Coach Sonny Lubick and his staff will assist in organization and offensive and defensive instruction. "Chalk Talk" sessions for all coaches will be held each evening with the Ram coaching staff.
Teams will play a minimum of fourteen games culminating in a seeded tournament and "Ram Bowl" championship on the final day. Championship plaques and All-Tournament Team certificates will be awarded.

Individual Camp Ages 8-18 (Non-Contact), June 7-9, 2004
This is a non-padded, individual camp for ages 8-18. Campers can commute or stay over two nights in the Colorado State dormitories. This camp will focus on basic individual skills and will feature instruction from the CSU football staff as well as guest coaches from around the country.

Junior/Senior Only (Contact), June 18-19 and July 23-24
This year, we will provide two opportunities for '05 and '06 graduates to attend our popular padded camp. These camps will feature opportunities for basic instruction, competition and team drills for all campers. The CSU football staff will lead the instruction and will be assisted by many other college coaches from throughout the region.
This camp is designed for high school players who are preparing to enter their junior or senior year and plan to continue their careers at the college level. Working individually and directly with coaches from the Colorado State Football Staff, you will be exposed to the same advanced techniques that have made the Rams one of college football's elite programs.
In addition to aiding your progress as a player, the Sonny Lubick Junior/Senior Camp also gives you a chance to showcase your talent and skills for the coaching staff. Also, to prepare you for the jump to the collegiate level, we will provide workshops on strength training, speed development, eligibility, recruiting, and the college experience in general. These activities, along with highlight videos and guest speakers will make your camp experience as fun as it is beneficial.

Winter Softball Clinics
Clinic 3 Offensive Skills Clinic Sunday, February 1, 2004
This camp is designed to teach the fundamentals of both hitting and bunting. Included in this clinic will be power hitting, left-handed slapping (for those who are left handed), sacrifice bunting, slap bunting, and drag bunting. Extensive drills and competition.

Volleyball Camps 2004
Skills Camp, July 20-23
Players will receive instruction on basic and advanced techniques for individual athletes. Campers will be divided into training groups according to skill level and taught at a pace that is most beneficial for the athlete. Camp Features Include: An Expert Staff of Coaches; Individual Skills Training; Team Oriented Drill Training; Coaching in Small Group Settings; Skills and Techniques Used and Taught by the Colorado State Volleyball Team; Questions and Answers With Sucessful College Players; Camp T-Shirt; Camp Store With Volleyball Products. Team Camp, July 23-26
Colorado State's team camp has received praise as on of the finest camps of its kind. The team camp offers a great opportunity for your team to work on the skills and systems you plan to use this coming fall. It will allow you to bring your team together prior to the start of preseason and get a jumpstart on team concepts. Camp Features include: An Expert Staff of Coaches; Daily Practice Sessions With Camp Coach; Sign Up Skill Sessions for Individual Skills; Live Demonstrations of Team Drills; Guarantee of at least 12 matches; Championship Monday - the culmination of the weeks competitors. Teams are required to have a minimum of 8 players and the camp will be limited to 30 teams. * See registration form for cost of camp.

Youth Camp, July 10-11
This camp will serve the beginner as well as the advanced youth player in grades 5-8. Players will be divided into training groups according to skill level and will be taught at a pace that is beneficial for the athlete. Each player will receive great instruction from the coaching staff at CSU as well as other elite level coaches. Along with a great experience every athlete will also take home a Youth volleyball.

2004 Rocky Mountain Swim Camps
Stroke Camp I, June 6-11 (Ages 8-18)
Stroke Camp II, June 13-18 (Ages 8-18)
Learn the latest stroke technique information
Improve your four competitive strokes, starts, and turns through video amalysis
Enhance your knowledge of nutrition, race strategy, mental preparation, and goal setting
Each day, campers will be coached through one dryland and one water training session at our 5,000-foot altitude. In a separate session each day the athlete will receive intensive stroke instruction and feedback upon each of the competitive strokes as well as starts and turns. In addition, group meetings will be held throughout each day to maximize training and performance in mental preparation, nutrition, goal setting, leadership, race strategy, and videotape review.
We also encourage personal growth through group interaction and free time activities under the guidance of our staff. The ratio of campers to staff is approximately 10:1, providing for a very productive and rewarding experience. This year we will conclude each camp with an informal and optional question-and-answer parent meeting.

Altitude and Psychological Skills Training Camp, June 20-28 (Ages 12-18)

This intensive altitude and psychological skills training camp will provide swimmers ages 12-18 with a unique environment. Researchers for United States Swimming have proven that altitude training can help an above-average athlete become even better. Additionally, proper mental preparation can develop more of an athlete's potential. The combination of our training location and the unique skills taught to each athlete provides an atmosphere not found anywhere else in the country.
The camp, which will be limited to 30 athletes, will include two intensive in-water training sessions and one dryland conditioning session each day. When not physically conditioning, the athletes will be taught how to apply the most effective mental training techniques. The remaining free time will be used for planned activities.
The athlete to staff ratio will be 10:1 which will provide for flexibility in the training of those athletes preparing for competition soon after camp. This is yet another feature of the completely different experience found at the Rocky Mountain Altitude and Psychological Skills Training Camp!
