Two Ute Swimmers Compete in US Championships DeCarolis and Ferraro each performed well at the US Championships
March 29, 2007 EAST MEADOW, N.Y. - University of Utah swimmers Marco Ferraro and Michel DeCarolis are both competing at the 2007 USA Spring Championships. At the Championships, DeCarolis swam a time of 2:24.98 in the 200 breast which was good enough to qualify him for the Switzerland Olympic team trials in the event. DeCarolis placed 19th overall in the 200 breast. Ferraro finished with a time of 1:54.66 in the 200 freestyle, which was good for 17th place overall. The Championships will continue through March 31, in East Meadow, N.Y., at the Nassau County Aquatic Center. Live results for the event can be found at www.usaswimming.org.
