SERIES NOTES
Prior to Army's 27-24 win last year, the Falcons took eight in a row from the Black Knights dating back to 1997. Since the beginning of the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy series in 1972, the Falcons hold a 23-11 overall lead, including an 8-9 record at West Point. Air Force won the last game played at Army, 31-22, in 2004.
TCU leads the series 3-1 and took the last meeting in Las Vegas 41-18 on Nov. 21, 1998. UNLV's lone victory over the Horned Frogs came way of a 21-19 win in Las Vegas in 1997.
San Diego State has won six of the last seven contests with the exception
being a 20-10 Wyoming victory in Laramie in 2004. Overall, the Cowboys
hold a 9-4 record at home. Since both schools have been in the MWC, San
Diego State holds a 6-1 advantage.
Last year's 24-14 BYU win was the second in a row after the Cougars dropped two straight to the Rams in `02 and `03. In Fort Collins, CSU holds a 14-16-3 advantage, including a 2-1 mark in MWC play.
