CLEVELAND - Sophomore Andrea Kremer (Indianapolis, Ind./Bishop Chatard) is showing no signs of slowing down as she was named Mid-American Conference Women's Runner of the Week for the third time this fall.

This latest accolade comes after she placed 18th out of 246 runners in the 6,000-meter Silver race at the Pre-NCAA Invitational in Greenville, S.C. The meet also included a 34-team, 229-runner Purple division, and if the results of that race were combined with those of the Silver, Kremer's time of 21:27 would have put her 23rd out of the meet's 475 female participants. It also was the fastest clocking of any MAC runner at the meet by 19 seconds.

Kremer's performance helped the RedHawks finish ahead of No. 25 Baylor and vote-getter Florida State in the Silver race, and if the results of the two races had been pooled, they would have come out ahead of No. 8 North Carolina.

The other two occasions on which Kremer received this honor were Sept. 25th, after she won the Miami Invitational, and Sept. 11, following her victory at the Miami Fall Classic.

Kremer and her teammates have this weekend off so they can prepare for the MAC Championship on Oct. 27 in Ypsilanti, Mich.
