OXFORD, Ohio - Miami University's men's and women's swimming teams rolled to wins over Xavier and Valparaiso in dual meet action. The men's team captured a 154-96 triumph over Valparaiso and a 139-114 win over Xavier, while the women's team topped Valparaiso 174-83 and Xavier 148-109.

Xavier won both the men's and women's meets against Valparaiso. The men won 166.5-140.5, while the women triumphed 152-100.

On the women's side, Miami won 11 of 14 events, including both relay events. Senior Colleen Rambasek (Kettering, Ohio/Alter) was the RedHawks' lone multiple event winner, capturing the 100-yard backstroke in 1:00.83 and the 100-yard butterfly in 0:58.86. Other winners were Michelle Reynolds (1,000 freestyle), Andrea Hocevar (200 freestyle), Cortney Dice (100 backstroke), Katie Scott (200 butterfly), Jackie Hiltman (50 freestyle), Tara Jacobson (500 freestyle) and Heather Kelley (400 individual medly).

For the RedHawk men's team, senior Kevin Mulgrew (Malden, Mass./Malden Catholic) and senior Adam Clementi (Palatine, Ill./St. Viator) were two-time winners. Mulgrew notched wins in the 200-yard butterfly (1:55.90) and 500-yard freestlye (4:46.93). Clementi posted wins in the sprint events, capturing the 50 freestyle in 0:21.67 and the 100 freestyle in 0:48.48. Miami also claimed 11 of 14 events, including both relays. Other winners were Andrew Keefe (1000 freestyle), Andy Uhlenberg (200 freestyle), Jason Krasula (100 backstroke), Ryan Gandre (100 butterfly) and John Carroll (400 individual medly).
