COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Miami University head field hockey coach Jill Reeve has been named by USA Field Hockey as part of its staff with United States National Team as it heads to Rosario, Argentina for the 2006 Argentina Four Nation's Tournament from March 15-19. Reeve will serve as the team's manager and will handle a variety of duties, both on and off the field.

At the tournament, the 18-member USA team will meet Olympic gold medalist Germany, World Cup qualifier Ireland and host Argentina, which enters the tournament as the world's No. 2-ranked team.

Reeve spent 12 years as a player for Team USA and served as the team's captain on three occasions. She competed in three World Cups, earning a bronze medal in 1994, and represented her country at the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta. In 1999, Reeve received her sport's highest honor, as she was named the United States Field Hockey Association Female Athlete of the Year.

In 2005, Reeve, who completed her second season as Miami's head coach, led the Red and White to its first 10-win season since 1996 and the program's first-ever Mid-American Conference Tournament championship game.
