HUNTERSVILLE, N.C.-Miami University's golf team is in seventh place in the 15-team field after two rounds at the Birkdale Collegiate Classic and enters Sunday's final round just five strokes out of fifth place, shooting 308-308=616.

Senior Mark Weghorst and sophomore Mike Calkin lead the RedHawks tied for 24th place at eight-over par 152. Junior Brent Kriegshauser follows at 11-over par 155 to tie for 38th place, while sophomore Ryan Swelin and freshman Joshua Dean are tied for 55th and 60th place, respectively.

UNC Wilmington and Charlotte are tied for first with 596 shots. Charlotte's Matt Mincer leads sits in first place at even-par 144.
