OXFORD, Ohio -- With a number of the leading college football preview publications on the newsstands, Miami University's 2005 football team and numerous individuals within the program are earning widespread acclaim. Phil Steele's College Football Preview, Street & Smith's College Football Yearbook and College Football News all have picked the RedHawks atop the Mid-American Conference East Division, which it has claimed in each of the past two seasons. Individually, seniors Martin Nance, Terna Nande and Darrell Hunter were consistently ranked among the best in the nation at their respective positions.

The MAC News Media Association announces its preseason projections on Tuesday, July 26, during the MAC Football Media Day in Detroit.
