Roadrunners Drop 65-55 Decision To Cal State San Bernardino
Nov. 5, 2007 ANAHEIM, CALIF. -- Jesse Wagstaff had 22 points and eight rebounds but it was not enough as Cal State San Bernardino defeated Metro State, 65-55, in a nonconference men's basketball game, Sunday evening at the Disney Tip Off Classic. Metro State took a 44-43 lead with 5:13 to play on a pair of free throws by Wagstaff, but the Coyotes went on a 10-0 run to go ahead by nine, 53-44, with 3:03 to play. The Roadrunners shot just 25.9 percent from the floor in the second half, while Cal State San Bernardino shot 50 percent. Guiseppe Ciancio added 14 points for Metro State. With the win, CSUSB improves to 3-0 overall, while Metro State falls to 1-2. |
