BOULDER, COLO. - Todd Tolentino finished 25th overall in the men's race, while Mandi Hepworth placed 54th in the women's race to lead Metro State at the University of Colorado Shootout cross country race, Saturday afternoon in Boulder.

The Roadrunner men finished fourth with 123 points in the non-Division I team results, while the women were seventh with 216 points. Adams State finished first, while Western State was second in both the men's and women's races.

Tolentino ran the 8K race in a time of 26:55, while Eiger Erickson was 44th overall in a time of 27:43. Anthony Luna was 51st in a time of 28:00, while Brice Young ran 28:11 to finish 56th.

For the women, Hepworth ran 24:20 for 5.8K. Judy Jimenez was 71st in a time of 24:55, while Desarae Gleason ran 24:58 to finish 73rd.

Metro State is at the RMAC Championships, Oct. 21, in Pueblo, Colo.
