BOULDER, COLO. -- Veronica Albo was 15th in the women's race, while Kyle Simcox finished 17th in the men's race to lead Metro State at the University of Colorado Time Trial cross country race, Saturday morning in Boulder, Colo.

Simcox finished the 8K race in a time of 27:30, while Albo ran the 5.8K race in 24:00. There were 57 runners in the men's race and 32 runners in the women's.

On the men's side, Chris LeBlanc was 31st (28:38), while Max Cowen was 37th (29:13) and Jacob Schuman was 42nd (29:39). For the women, Jessica Jenkins was 19th (24:32), while Chelsea Rutter was 21st (24:50).

Richard Medina (26:38) won the men's race, while Laura Thweatt (23:05) won the women's.

Metro State is at Colorado State, Sept. 15.
