HAYS, KAN. - Southwest Baptist swept Metro State, 9-0, in a nonconference women's tennis match, Saturday afternoon in Hays, Kan.

Southwest Baptist swept all six singles matches in straight sets. Orzalla Nabiyar had a close match at No. 6 singles before falling, 6-2, 6-3, while Alecia Jenkins lost at No. 3, 6-3, 6-1. The No. 2 doubles team of Mitra Hirad and April Hirad lost 8-6.

With the loss, Metro State falls to 1-11. The Roadrunners host Butler, March 15 at 1 p.m.
