July 30, 2007 Erie, Pa. - Mercyhurst women's tennis coach Neil Leroy recently announced the signing of Ursuline High School graduate and Youngstown, Ohio native, Kim Ezzo. Ezzo joins a program that has posted 70 victories since 2002. At Ursuline, Ezzo not only played No. 1 singles all four years, but also won the Division II sectional title four times and was a All-Steel Valley First Team selection for four-straight seasons. During her junior and senior seasons, Ezzo won 45-consecutive regular season matches, while losing just one set. In addition to holding lofty United States Tennis Association (USTA) rankings, Ezzo was chosen for the Nation Zone Team Championships in 2005 and 2006. In 2005, Ezzo represented the United States in the International Children's Games, held in Coventry, England, and finished 10th in a field of 40.
