Slippery Rock Edges Mercyhurst, 5-4

Erie, Pa. - Mercyhurst, playing without the services of senior #1 player Natalie Paparella - out the rest of the year due to injury - fell to visiting Slippery Rock 5-4 Saturday. The Lakers dropped to 11-9 overall. The teams divided the six singles matches, most of which were hotly contested, but SRU took two of three doubles contests. The Lakers are idle now until April 9 when they entertain Indianapolis. |
