Kingston, Ontario - Mercyhurst freshman defenseman Zack Fenwick has signed with the Ontario Hockey League's Kingston Frontenancs and is expected to be in uniform tonight when the Frontenacs host the Erie Otters. Fenwick saw action in four games for the Lakers in the first half of the season. He totaled three minor penalties and no points.

Fenwick was selected by Kingston in the 2006 OHL Priority Selection.

"I'm, obviously, disappointed in Zack's decision," said Mercyhurst head coach Rick Gotkin. "We enjoyed having Zack as a member of our team and we believe he showed a great deal of promise. All of us wish him well in his future endeavors."

Fenwick was originally drafted in the 8th round, 154th overall in the 2006 OHL Priority Selection, Last year, he had 11 goals and 37 points for the Pickering Panthers in the OPJHL.
